Maker’s Mark Cellar Aged 2025 is their premium-aged offering that goes beyond their traditional bourbon. The blend is 74% 11-year-old, 10% 13-year-old, and 16% 14-year-old wheated bourbons. It spends part of its maturation in traditional rickhouses, then finishes aging in Maker’s Mark’s limestone cellar, which provides a cooler, more controlled environment that tempers oak influence and deepens flavor.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Dark brown sugar, caramelized oak, baked apple, enriched with creamy fudge and toasted almond
Palate: Ripe dark cherry, heated baking spice, orange dash, then a core of fudge and caramel with apple and oak playing together
Finish: Long and viscous; lingering butterscotch, orange zest, soft spice, and toasted nuts
